Get started →Metaphorical associative cards (MAC) are a set of cards with images, scenes and symbols that a psychologist uses as a projective tool. Looking at a card, the client describes what they see and unconsciously projects their own feelings, memories and inner conflicts onto the image. The card becomes a “bridge” to topics that are hard to put into words directly.
MAC are used in counselling, psychotherapy and coaching. They help build rapport faster, bypass rational defences and see a situation from a new angle. Subconscious Room brings this work online — with full card decks and live video contact with the client.
